Diallo S. Powell — Social Technology Entrepreneur — is currently the co-founder of Brooklyn-based Zipari, where he is focused on the strategic development and go-to-market tactics of the Silicon Valley venture-backed SaaS software company.

Diallo was a member of the 2007 founding team of Freelancers Insurance Company (FIC) where he led software and platform development and assumed the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO). In 2011, he led the development of a business plan to create three new health insurance companies to launch on the exchanges created under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The proposal resulted in a $340MM funding award from U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services. As General Manager, he built the team and managed the incubation of the three companies that launched on insurance exchanges in 2013.

Diallo also founded a software company, focused on greater transparency in health insurance, that was acquired in 2015.

Diallo began his career in the New York City offices of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in their Advanced Development Center (ADC) and in Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy & Operations practice.
